Report an Incident

Our online reporting system offers two choices of form that you can complete to report a hate crime incident.

The long form
By completing this form you will give us more valuable details of what happened, in order that we can follow up the report.

The short form
This only allows for brief details to be submitted so we may need to contact you for more information.

Once you have completed the form, please select which group you would like to send it to, if you would like it to go to more than one group.

This is a secure site. Sending these forms to the options listed means that you are giving the Hate Incident Reporting Scheme permission to share information. If you are not clear about what will happen to your form once it has been submitted then do not use the site forms or send them. Instead ring the Police on 0845 6060606 or the Hate Crime Unit on 01484 416295.

If you choose to send a hate incident on these reporting forms Kirklees Community Safety Partnership will control the information. The reports will be sent to your choices for the purposes of combating hate crime. The information will be shared for this purpose with the following organisation if you chose this on your form: Kirklees Race Equality Council, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing (Council Housing) West Yorkshire Police (reports to the Police are forwarded by the Co-ordinator of the site at present) and any other agency of your choice. Therefore by choosing to report using these Forms, you will be consenting to this sharing of information with your choices.

Please note that this system has been created to secure standards. However we are unable to give any guarantee or accept any risk regarding the security of the reporting forms you send and the email transfer to your choices, of the report form. Use of the system is at your own risk.

If you are unhappy with sending the report forms online then you can print off the form and send it in the post or call at a Reporting Centre.
